SoundBridge

A REZI × Sister Cities Project Initiative
Sister Cities Project / SoundBridge

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.

Helping artists, musicians, producers, creatives, and technology-driven creatives from underserved communities gain the mentorship, relationships, education, and opportunities needed to turn talent into sustainable careers.

Why SoundBridge?

Talent shouldn’t determine who succeeds. Access should.

Many artists and creatives have the passion, work ethic, and extraordinary talent needed to succeed. What they often lack is access—access to mentors, industry professionals, technology, business education, and the opportunities that can transform creativity into a sustainable career. For too many talented people, where they grow up, who they know, and the resources available to them shape their future far more than their ability. SoundBridge exists to change that. Beginning in San Diego, SoundBridge is building a model that can expand to communities across the country, creating more equitable pathways into the creative economy. Created through a partnership between REZI and Sister Cities Project, SoundBridge connects artists and creatives with the relationships, mentorship, education, tools, and opportunities they need to succeed while creating new pathways into the creative economy. We believe creativity should never be limited by someone’s ZIP code. Together, we can help build the bridge between talent and opportunity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Expand the items below to learn more about why SoundBridge is so critical.

Why does SoundBridge exist?

Too many talented creatives never reach their potential because they lack access to mentorship, relationships, business knowledge, and opportunities—not because they lack talent.

What is the long-term vision for SoundBridge?

Imagine a San Diego where every talented creative—regardless of neighborhood, background, or income—has access to the same opportunities to learn, connect, create, and thrive. Imagine artists launching successful businesses. Musicians mentoring the next generation. Creative entrepreneurs hiring locally. Communities strengthened through creativity. That's the future we're building together.

Why REZI and Sister Cities Project?

REZI has spent more than a decade creating opportunities for artists, musicians, DJs, creatives, and entrepreneurs, while Sister Cities Project has built a broader community-impact model focused on equity, workforce development, entrepreneurship, education, and cross-community collaboration. SoundBridge brings those strengths together. Through this partnership, REZI can expand its work beyond traditional business activity and create a more structured way to support artists and creatives who may not otherwise have access to mentorship, training, resources, or professional opportunities. Partnering with a nonprofit also creates additional pathways for charitable giving, sponsorships, grants, and community investment that can help fund programs designed for public benefit. For Brandon Noel, SoundBridge is also an opportunity to build on the ways he has already supported artists throughout his career and turn that commitment into a larger, more sustainable platform for giving back. Together, REZI and Sister Cities Project can combine industry experience, community relationships, nonprofit infrastructure, and fundraising capacity to create meaningful pathways into the creative economy.
