Workforce Development

Sister Cities Project / Workforce Development

Our Workforce Development programs are about giving Black youth training and access to the earning power of the Digital Economy.

Featured Program:

(Eco)Agency™

The (Eco)Agency™ will provide underserved youth the opportunity to start a career in digital marketing through comprehensive training and hands-on learning experiences. By the end of the program, participants will be qualified to seek roles such as Digital Media Specialist, Digital Marketing Manager, Online Marketing Specialist, Social Media Manager, and so on.

The (Eco)Agency™ will create access, awareness, and opportunities for talented at-risk and low-income youth ages 18 – 24 by providing a pipeline to a career in Digital Marketing. However, SCP’s (Eco)Agency™ will build upon this foundation by leveraging key partnerships with nonprofits, businesses, and technology agencies, aka the SCP ecosystem, to simultaneously provide assistance to Black-owned businesses throughout San Diego county. Ultimately, the SCP (Eco)Agency™ program will catapult vulnerable Black youth into successful
careers in tech and it will increase revenue for Black-owned businesses, closing income and opportunity gaps between Black and White Americans.
